"I was charged with the duty of selling my mother's house upon her death. It was in a trust and had a reverse mortgage that needed to be paid. I also lived about 7 hours from the house, so I could only be there for a short span of time. My goal was to sell the home quickly but at a fair price and without any hassle. Lisa was an angel! She made things happen. At the same time, I never felt railroaded into any decisions. She clearly stated what I needed to know and do and offered sound advice. I had sold two houses previously to this, but selling your own house is a bit different because you know all the details. In this case, the house came with some things that needed doing, and yet I didn't want to invest a lot of money or time. Lisa found the right people for the jobs, and we left that place beautiful for the new owners. Mom would have been proud. We got the price we were asking for and had no problems closing escrow. I could not have asked for a better realtor. I was able to return home knowing Lisa would finish the sales process, and we did a great deal by email and electronic paperwork, making the need to travel back and forth completely unnecessary. Overall, I found the real estate process rather painless, and I was able to fulfill my fiduciary responsibilities to my siblings within a reasonable amount of time. In fact, the house sold rather quickly because we had all our ducks in a row ahead of time, and Lisa was very good about what that entailed, so that there were no surprises to derail the process.
